The Simple Bible Reading Checklist I Use to Track My Progress
When I first started reading the Bible “for all it’s worth,” I noticed something interesting—I kept re-reading the same books over and over. I had no real visual to show me where I’d been or what I had yet to read. I wanted a clear, simple Bible reading checklist to help me stay motivated and see my progress as I went through Scripture.
After searching on Google, I found a one-page Bible reading tracker that I’ve now used 2 or 3 times. It was exactly what I was looking for: clean, minimal, and easy to keep tucked right inside my Bible without taking up too much space. I print it in landscape, trim off the white edges, and tape it in as a new “page” in the front or back of my Bible.
As I read, I check off each chapter. And when I complete an entire book, I highlight the title so I can celebrate that accomplishment. It may sound silly, but for me, it’s deeply satisfying—and it gives me a small sense of victory on the harder days.
Let’s be honest: reading through the entire Bible is no small task. The enemy would love to keep us too “busy” or distracted to meet with the Lord daily. So anything that keeps you coming back to the Word—whether it’s a checklist, a highlighter, or a favorite pen—is a win in my book.
If you're on the hunt for a Bible reading checklist that’s simple, visual, and Bible-friendly, I highly recommend giving this one a try!
